Hey friends!!!
We have some sad news. In case you haven’t noticed we have a bunch of tour cancellations and no news on the album as of late. We have decided to postpone recording a new album until the fall. We are taking some time to find a new groove creatively and personally. We all still deeply love eachother, this is just a season of reflecting and resting. Feel free to email me at info@jacobandlily.com is you have questions and thanks for the love and support!!!

Hi folks!!!! We just got back from our April tour to Ontario and the Eastern US states. It was a great trip, where we got to meet tonnes of new people, fall in love with some cool cities, enjoy a snippet of summer and remember why we love Canada so much!
Our tour started in Westport, ON where we reconnected with Caleb’s family at camp IAWAH. What a wonderful time, we followed that with a weekend of craziness driving from Toronto to Orillia, to Ingersoll, back to Toronto and then off to the USA. Special thanks to Alyssa Wright and the Orillia Folk Society, that show may have been one of our best shows ever, what a wonderful crowd! Another special thanks to Ken Whiteley and the crew at Hugh’s Room. It was a pure joy and pleasure Ken, thanks so much for inviting us to your Gospel Show!!
Once we squeaked back into the US (ask Caleb sometime about his experience) we headed to New Haven, CT where we found a wonderful new crew of extended family. Thanks Dave Henry for taking us around town and for introducing us to Rudy’s. If you ever go to New Haven, be sure to check out the First Hamburger and First Pizza joints, the boys loved that, as well as the free Art Museum at Yale University!
From there we headed to New York City after a brief day with our dear friend Tracy Howe and her man Seth! NYC is all it is cracked up to be, an amazing buffet of cultural flavors, we needed SO MUCH MORE TIME! Thanks Rob and Kimmie for carting us around, there is no way the G-Bus could have fit. Thanks Gar Ragland from Newsong for getting us a gig in NYC! We had a great time and will model our I heart NYC shirts soon.
We headed to Washington DC to play with our sweet friend Maureen at her Potluck House Concert Series, i think you’ve got something here Maureen! Then off to the Delmarva Peninsula to meet new beloved friends David and Lisa Fowler! We had a great time in Ridgely, MD, thanks to that lovely crew for a wonderful house show and oysters.
We needed some time off desperately so we headed to the Outer Banks of North Carolina, an incredibly tiny strip of sand bar islands on the Atlantic Coast! Life is grand when you can hit up a luxury KOA on the ocean. We sat in the hot tub, rode bikes, walked on the beach, chased the dog, played basketball, and had a salmon Easter dinner! It was lush!
PS this whole time Gary is fixing the following broken bus parts: 2 rear calipers and brake pads, bleeding the brakes, busted stairs, and a broken windshield wiper. What a great man!
Off to the South! We had a beautiful time with new friends Ben and Taphath Cannon in Charlotte, thanks to the kids that came from over an hour away for a house show, what an honor! We then headed to Toccoa, Georgia for a weekend of mountain man adventures c/o Eric Kilgore! We loved meeting all the college kids and playing in the Kilgore’s new farmhouse! What a wonderful and fun time!
Once we spent some lovely time with Kelly, Claire and Aaron in Chattanooga, TN we ended the month with a sweet house show in Lexington, KY with Amy and friends! Thanks guys for a sweet night!

Hey friends! I hope you are all doing well. I (Caleb) am just in the final weeks of wintering in the barren prairies. I can barely wait to stretch out, face the sun and get my bus legs back. Rightly so, there’s a lot of exciting things starting come late March.
“CBC Radio 2 is putting the spotlight on Canada’s emerging musical talent! “Next! Canada’s Music Future” is a 10-part series that showcases 50 artists, ensembles and bands that are on the verge of becoming national names on the music scene.”
We’re so honored to be selected as featured artists on Next! They will be broadcasting a live recording of a concert we did last fall at The Folk Exchange, Winnipeg MB. It was a fantastic night featuring Jacob and Lily and a special guest appearance by Brian James (Co-Producer of our upcoming album). To hear the full performance listen to Next! on:
